Excerpt from The Book: "The Vacation"

Billy and his family were going on a vacation to Chicago! Billy was so excited, he could barely sleep the night before. He had never been to a big city before, and he couldn't wait to see all the skyscrapers and the famous landmarks. The next morning, Billy's family woke up early and headed to the airport. They boarded a plane and flew to Chicago.When they landed, they took a taxi to their hotel. Billy's room had a view of the city, and he could see all the way to the lake. After they checked in, Billy and his family went out to explore the city. They walked down Michigan Avenue, and Billy saw all the stores and restaurants.They stopped at a hot dog stand and had lunch. After lunch, they went to the Willis Tower. Billy took the elevator to the top, and he had a bird's eye view of the city.He could see to the suburbs. It was amazing! The next day, Billy and his family went to the Field Museum. They saw dinosaurs, mummies, and all sorts of other interesting things.Billy learned a lot about history and science. On their last day in Chicago, Billy and his family went to the zoo. They saw lions, tigers, elephants, and all sorts of other animals. Billy had a great time feeding the giraffes and petting the goats.Billy had a wonderful time on his vacation to Chicago. He saw all sorts of amazing things and learned a lot about history and science. He can't wait to go back someday!.
